Band uses social media to get their disgruntled message across!
If you’ve ever struggled to get a response to a complaint from “Customer Service” (sic) of large organisations, then you could learn from American country singer David Carroll.
After pursuing the usual channels and hitting brick walls, he posted a song about an experience he had with the United airlines baggage carriers and ground crew.
When Dave and his band were waiting for take off they saw the baggage handlers throw their guitar cases. The band arrived at the other end of their flight to find one of the guitars was broken. The ground crew didn’t want to help in the slightest.
Maybe no one at United Airlines listened, but over 9 million Youtube viewers took notice.
This resulted in a 15% fall United Airlines share price. The power of social media!
